Welcome!

Welcome to Bloomingpedia! Thanks for your edits. I went ahead and moved Riley Manion to her own page and added her into the Photography category. The text on the Category page is reserved for a description of the category, rather than the actual entries, which are generated off their own pages. Have a look at the source code to see how I did this. -Chrobb 01:45, 10 October 2006 (EDT)

Article requests

Jason, you made some great article requests that we should definately be doing some research for. I thought I'd let you know that at least two of your requests aready have articles that would fit your bill. Regester Garage Cruisers is a good one about the cruisers that used to squat in the garage downtown on College Avenue. The PCB article talks about the PCB mess and cleanup to some extent. -- Mark 10:42, 10 October 2006 (EDT)

Adding people listings to the people category page

Jason, we're glad to have you on board. However, I needed to rollback an edit you made to the Category:People page as what you intended to do was not what you actually did. The space at the top of a category page is there to describe what types of articles are being listed under that category. Articles about people show up on that category page because those articles have the category tag on them. However, an article must first exist. One of your listings was Carl Salzman, this article does not exist. You can create an article about him in several ways, the easiest may be to make a link to an article with that name, like this: Carl Salzman. Now, when someone edits in information for that article, you can add the People category at the bottom of the article so it will show up on the Category:People page. Please take a look at existing articles about people to see how to add the category tag, it is usually at the bottom of the article. Please let anyone on the Bloomingpedia Council know if you have further questions about working on Bloomingpedia. Chris Eller 22:13, 18 October 2006 (EDT)

El Norteño

Jason, I've seeded the El Norteño article with the information that was incorrectly placed in the Category:Mexican cuisine category page. The Category pages collect listings of articles that have been categorized (such as the El Norteño article). The text of the category pages is for a description of what sort of articles may fall under that category. If you have questions about how thing work on Bloomingpedia, please don't hesitate to conect any of the Bloomingpedia Council members. Chris Eller 12:26, 18 May 2007 (EDT)
