Talk:Ballantine Hall

From Bloomingpedia

One suicide is not "an unfortunate history". It's one suicide and an urban legend. --Jkonrath 15:07, 10 August 2006 (EDT)

I was originally going to an entire write-up on the numerous suicide attempts at Ballantine Hall, but then I thought it would be too morbid. Go the heraldtimesonline site and do a search for ballantine and suicide.

Tallest Building?

That's not true, at least anymore. Emporis has it listed as 10 stories and ~123 feet. That ties it with the main library, but Tulip Tree, Briscoe, and Forest are all 11 stories, Willkie is 12, and Eigenmann is 15. It would have been the tallest from its completion in 1959 until Tulip Tree and Willkie were built in 1965. --Jkonrath (talk) 18:39, 16 September 2019 (EDT)
