- 1st The South Walnut Sheet Metal Works at 1412 South Walnut Street opens. Owners are O. W. Woolems and C. V. Starr. Both are former employees of the Bloomington Radiator and Sheet Metal Works, and Starr was proprietor of the Starr Tin Shop.
