College Motor Inn

The College Motor Inn at 509 North College Avenue was created in 1997 from a motel built in the 1950's. Owners Bruce Storm and Shannon Storm renovated the rooms to feature small kitchens, new furniture, and plumbing fixtures to add modern comforts with a 50's decor.
The previous motel in the space, the Downtown Motel, had an unsavory reputation as a hangout for drug addicts and prostitutes, and was next door to the College Street Adult Bookstore.
The motel was sold to Pinnacle Properties in 2007 and was torn down in 2008.
