Harvey Phillips

Harvey Phillips is a professor emeritus at Indiana University and considered one of the greatest tuba players ever. He has been refered to as “The Paganini of the Tuba” because of his virtuosity as a soloist.
He is also known for starting several organizations and events to promote the tuba. One of them, Tuba Christmas has grown to worldwide popularity.
