Overview
Jazz at the Station is a newly opened fine dining restaurant and live jazz venue located in the former Bloomington Ilinois Central Railroad Station.
The atmosphere at the restaurant reflects the buildings former role as a railroad depot and also jazz heritage with tasteful displays of railroad related posters, tickets and general paraphinalia. The restaurant is owned by Cheryl Underwood and operated by a husband and wife team, Matt O'Neil and his partner Regen.
The menu is eclectic with a European flavour, a reflection on Matt's Irish roots.
Prices are reasonable at about $20 per person, excluding alcohol and dessert.
History
The resturaunt opened it's doors during October 2007.
