Stoute Pharmacy

From Bloomingpedia

The Stoute Pharmacy was a fixture on The Square from around 1910 to 1936.

It was owned by William A. Stoute, who began as a clerk for Tom Penrod before starting his own business on the west side of the square. When the Graham Hotel was completed, the pharmacy moved to the hotel building.

Stoute died of a heart attack on April 3, 1936. He had also served as a Bloomington City Council member.
