The Shoppes
The Shoppes is a strip mall at the intersection of Covenanter Drive and College Mall Road. It was built by the WS Property Group in 1988. The exterior features a traditional facade with gables anchored by cylinder columns. The roof will be a rich Cordovan offset by several shades of gray.
The complex may be entered via a three-lane entrance from College Mall Road in the center or via Covenanter Drive on the south. The College Mall/Covenanter intersection was created at the time of the project.
The $3.5 million project includes the 31,200-square-foot main building, plus a 6,600-square-foot out lot and another 3,000-square-foot building.
Merchants National Bank and Trust of Indianapolis financed the development, with design work by Stone Cabin Design.
