I think the changes that you made to the front page are acceptable and give a more welcome look to the site. We'll try it for a while and see how it goes. Copyright of images

My praise may have been premature. While we appreciate your help, we must have information about authorship of the images that you uploaded. The same goes for any image. We cannot just include images on the site from anywhere, their copyright owner must allow it. If you can provide this information and we can get permission for the images, then we can probably use them, otherwise we must remove them from the site. Thanks. -- Mark 13:48, 23 August 2011 (EDT)

Got your message about the images being from Flickr. I think that will be ok then. But you need to give attribution to the authors. So for each image you should add to the description on the Image page the author so that its in the description text (not just the Exif data) as well as a link to the Flickr URL. I think this will be good enough. Ideally, images that are taken from Flickr should be kept to a minimum and we'd like to see more images taken specifically for Bloomingpedia, especially if being used on the front page. -- Mark 15:04, 23 August 2011 (EDT)
