Circuit City is a national electronics retail chain that existed in Eastland Plaza from 1998 to 2005. It was located at 2520 E. 3rd Street, which is a location that was renovated to make way for the store. The spaces of two former stores, Bedroom One and The Fashion Shop, were combined to accomodate the new store. Even given the renovation, the space was small for a Circuit City chain. The parent company considered it a "micro store" that was underperforming. It was closed along with 19 other stores on a national level.
