Envisage is a company that provides Commercial Off-The-Shelf software to various governmental agencies in the areas of the military, Homeland Security, and law enforcement.

The company began development of its flagship product, the Acadis Readiness Suite, in 1997 with the federal Department of Justice and continues to evolve the software as evidenced by the recent release of version 4.0 using a .NET architecture and Oracle database platform. The company invests heavily in research and development to consistently advance the solution and define the vision for 21st century enterprise training management.

Located in a renovated barn on Moores Pike east of College Mall Road, the company employs some of the best software engineers in Bloomington.

In 2007, the company announced a $1.6 million task order for enhancement of its Academy Class Management System (ACMS) software. The software will be deployed at residential law enforcement academies throughout the department of Customs and Border Protection.

The ACMS system is the result of a multi-year joint collaboration between three Department of Homeland Security agencies — Customs and Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Citizenship and Immigration Services — who work to define standard approaches and best practices for law enforcement academy automation and training recordation.
