A cross-denominational church dedicated to evangelizing Jesus. ECC is a fairly large church with an extensive children's Sunday School program and a well-recognized choir. The senior pastor is Robert Whitaker.
The church was started in 1976 with 200 members, but by 1988 had grown to two services and 1600 attendees, and had built an annex and addition at a cost of nearly $200,000.
In 1994, Charlotte Zietlow was granted a restraining order against Pastor Timothy Bayly, claiming that he was harassing her on the subject of abortion.
