John Louden

From Bloomingpedia

John Henry Louden (November 24, 1835 - June 3, 1911) was an early Bloomington lawyer.

He came to Bloomington around 1857 to attend law school, but his studies were interrupted by the Civil War.

On March 18, 1863, he married the former Lizzie C. Hemphill, daughter of James Hemphill, and received his law degree the following year.

After various partnerships with John M. McCoy, Frank Wilson, M.F. Dunn, Robert Miers, and William P. Rogers, he formed a partnership with his two sons, Theodore and William, which was one of the larger law firms of Bloomington.
