MOMS Club of Bloomington (east)

MOMS Club of Bloomington (east) is a group created to provide full- and part-time at-home moms support and social interaction. The Bloomington chapter started in September of 2005. MOMS Club offers age-based playgroups, park days, MOMS Night Out as well as other activities. MOMS Club (east) disbanded in December 2008 when most members voted to form a new club, Moms of Bloomington.

As of February 2008, the MOMS Club of Bloomington split into sister chapters: MOMS Club of Bloomington (east) and MOMS Club of Bloomington (west). Walnut Street in Bloomington and SR 37 in Monroe County is the dividing line for residents of Monroe County who wish to join.

MOMS Club (east) has a monthly social/business meeting on the third Friday of each month, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, which is open to all at-home moms in the eastern half of Monroe County.

Monthly socials through July 2007 were held on the third Wednesday of each month at Trinity Episcopal Church. The social had to be relocated due to renovations at Trinity. Monthly socials from August 2007 through January 2008 were held on the third Friday of each month at St. Paul United Methodist Church. Monthly socials from February 2008 through August 2008 were held on the third Friday of each month at United Presbyterian Church..
