Introduction

St. Charles Summer Institute is a summer program run by St. Charles Catholic School. It is four sessions long, with each session being two weeks long. Each session is divided into morning classes and afternoon classes. For students who opt to do both the morning session and the afternoon session, there is a lunch and recess in between classes.

The Classes

Many types of classes are offered at St. Charles, for students from preschool to ninth grade. After that, students can become assistants for the classes. Some examples of classes in the summer of 2008 include weaving, dancing, making robots, making wikis, learning about the history behind American Girls, learning about physics, and learning about chess.
