Sorry for the vague dates, but I only remember that this place went out at the end of my freshman year and became a Steak n' Shake. It may have been part of some larger corporate buyout by Steak N' Shake from Big Wheel, because the one in South Bend did the same switch. --Jkonrath 13:30, 22 May 2006 (EDT)

I just heard someone else say that this used to be Big Wheel in the 80s. Kinda weird for me because in northern Indiana, Big Wheel was the name of a large discount store kinda like K-mart. -- Mark 12:19, 26 January 2010 (EST)

The more I search on this, the more I think it was Big Wheel. A few things:

• http://www.roadarch.com/06/9/bigw.jpg - a sign from a Valparaiso location. That's definitely the sign I remember.
