Timeline methodology

I started creating a bunch of timeline's based on the one I did for the Little Zagreb article and then realized Mark already has this going with the Current Events. I like the idea of individual pages for each month that has more detail for each day, with a large page that has only the more significant stuff listed. This is more in line with how the Wikipedia folks handle things.

Does that sound like a good way to move forward? I'll move the timelines to the existing infrastructure and we can run through them later to pull out the more significant ones.

I think that its ok to have a summary of a year's events the way you are doing it on top of the detailed monthly events on the current events page. I styled the current events page after the Wikipedia one. I noticed that Wikipedia has slightly different layouts for the more recent years like [Wikipedia:1999|1999], as compared with [Wikipedia:1899]. Only slightly though. Maybe I'm thinking of the format of the date pages. Anyways, what you have going is fine. It would be good to have births and deaths section too. -- Mark 02:57, 21 February 2006 (GMT)

orphaned

This page has been orphaned. Intentional? I'll leave it be for now as this is more of Mark's baby. Chris 00:06, 28 February 2006 (GMT)

vandalism problems

If the bots are keying in on the page, name; wil la simple renaming of this page help to defend from these attacks? Perhaps change the page to "Happenings", or some other synonem. Chris 15:28, 9 March 2006 (GMT)
