This is a joke (and a good one, at that). Doesn't have anything to do with Bloomington. Belongs on fark, but not here. Vote aye to keep or nay to delete. -Chrobb 20:21, 14 April 2007 (EDT)

Huh? Do you have the right article? The domain is registered to Ravi Jonnal (User:Rjonnal), who I know and who does work at the Adaptive Optics Lab. Do you have a reference for it being a joke? -- Mark 20:46, 14 April 2007 (EDT)
I may have it wrong. There's no content on the site at all. The front page is filled with every business buzzword out there (in a comical arrangement, IMHO), and "maximizing your building's cyborg capital" didn't seem to legit to me. -Chrobb 22:12, 14 April 2007 (EDT)

I checked their website, too. All the links lead you back to the main page and one says "page can't be found." Based upon the business jargon, it does look like a joke or prank. Maybe we should make a "Bloomington Humor" cattegory. :) Anyway, It doesn't look legit to me, either. -User:Ahasuerus 22:16, 14 April 2007 (EDT)

Right, but at what point would we say "This isn't relative to Bloomington". Its still relevant, just in a different way. I guess the article could say something like "Ramiform Consulting is a fictional company with a website created to look like a real company from Bloomington. It was created by Ravi Jonnal for the purpose of.....". -- Mark 22:51, 14 April 2007 (EDT)
Some more evidence that its not a serious website: [1] If you look at the first incarnation, it seems that Ravi had some plans for the site. Also, the domain was registered back in 2003. Maybe Ramiform Consulting really is his business, but he just doesn't care about the website much. Mark 22:59, 14 April 2007 (EDT)
I guess we could keep it, if the article were modified and the owner was identified as a Bloomingtonian. Right now, the website doesn't bear any ties to Bloomington and could be based anywhere. But, as Mark says, perhaps the business is legit, but the website is just a joke. Would be nice if Ravi could weigh in on the intent so we aren't guessing. -Chrobb 04:41, 15 April 2007 (EDT)

Further evidence this is a joke popped up. Chocolate covered bacon is a rather famous Simpsons reference. -Chrobb 15:53, 15 April 2007 (EDT)
