Dining in the Smokies

The story of Texas Roadhouse started in a little town of Clarksville, Indiana on February 17th, 1993. Kent Taylor had a dream of a restaurant that sold great food and a great place for people to enjoy themselves from the enthusiastic and energetic staff. There are currently over 235 locations nationwide.

Texas Roadhouse was voted number 1 in Menu Variety as well as Value in the 2004 Restaurant & Institution Magazine's Choice in Chains Guest Survey. In 2006, Texas Roadhouse was ranked #1 in the Pub - Grill category and was also ranked 38th in Forbes Best 200 Small Companies List. The Texas Roadhouse mascot is called Andy the Armadillo.

The restaurant is operated by Sherry Jeffers, Managing Partner; Ryan Long, Service Manger; and Brian AmRhein.

While you wait to be seated there are barrels of peanuts waiting to be eaten and don’t worry about finding a trashcan for the shells, just toss them on the ground. Another great feature that Texas Roadhouse brings to you.

Texas Roadhouse is a great place to bring your friends and family. It is known for its legendary service, amazing food, and energetic atmosphere.
