The Discount Den, commonly known as "The Den", was a popular convenience store once located on the corner of Indiana Avenue and Kirkwood Avenue. It used to sell music, IU apparel, snacks, drinks, head-shop stuff (water pipes, nitrous, hang-over cures, exotic tobbaccos, stuff nobody needs) as well as a small convenience-store assortment of general merchandise. The Den always sold fountain drinks just the way townies and working stiffs like them: cheap and voluminous. In 2006 The Den disappeared from its long standing anchor position on Kirkwood and has been replaced by Trulli Flatbread.
It is currently the Campustown store, located at 306 N. Walnut Street, and its stock is now primarily devoted to IU apparel and other memorabilia related to Indiana University.
