WIUX-LP 99.1 FM is Indiana University's student radio station. WIUX used to be known as WIUS AM 1570 before making the switch to FM for the Spring 2006 semester. The station features music, talk, news, and sports shows hosted by IU students 24 hours a day.

Trivia=

• Operated at 100.3 FM from January 1, 2006 through June 3rd, 2007. They changed to 99.1 to make room for the larger WYGB Country station in Columbus. WIUX operates under a low power class D license which means they can be pre-empted by larger stations, should they need to expand their frequency. WYGB is a Class A station.
