520 N. Walnut Street

From Bloomingpedia

520 N. Walnut Street is a 12,000-square-foot limestone home built by Philip K. Buskirk around 1900. It has many interesting features including leaded glass, somber oak woodwork, ornate masonry, floral swags above the windows, slate shingles and other chateau influences.

It is currently the home of the Koch Law Firm.

Sometime in the 1970's it became a restaurant known as Whimples of Walnut Street, and later, Porticos.

It was sold in 2010 to Twig Holdings for $950,000.

The house is reportedly haunted by the ghosts of several small children.
