Peter Cornelius Van Slyke

Peter Cornelius Van Slyke (b. April 5th, 1766, d. September 25th, 1834) was an early pioneer in Southern Indiana and is most noted for having donated the land for the formation of Bloomfield. He was born on the Mohawk River in Schenectady County, New York in 1766. He was also a veteran of the War of 1812.
