From Bloomingpedia

The Indiana University School of Education is one of the world's premier programs for preparing tomorrow's teachers, counselors, school psychologists, educational leaders, curriculum designers, and educational scholars. Our mission is to improve teaching, learning, and human development in a diverse, rapidly changing, and increasingly technological society.

The faculty and staff join me in a sincere effort to make a difference in the lives of our students and those they will affect upon graduation. We are continually striving to achieve every aspect of our mission by providing the highest quality pre-service teacher preparation programs possible, conducting cutting-edge research and offering high quality graduate programs, incorporating the latest educational technology, partnering with public schools and communities to help improve education at all levels, and promoting diversity in our curriculum as well as among our faculty, students and staff.
