Ragazzi Arte Cafe, Italian food cafe located in a little 100 year old yellow house on Rogers Street. Quaint atmosphere. The inspiration was a house set in Sicily. With arches and white washed walls and old hardwood floors. Diners enjoy dinner by candlelight and soft music in the background. Various times there are live singers and musicians. The last Saturday of every month we have the Accordion players from Chicago. Carol and Sharon have been playing 30 years together. You will feel like your in South Italy in Bloomington.

Art lover's will love the cafe because 35 local artists work is on the walls. A special party once a month is provided for local artists to meet and to get to know each other. You can view times on the Ragazzi calendar located on www.bloomingtononline.net.

Ragazzi's also has a singles club. It is called Creating Connections and it is located under the forum on www.bloomingtononline.net.

In the works to have Italian cinema at Ragazzi's in the summer. The garden is being planted with many splashes of color! Outdoor tables are on order so customers can eat outdoors this summer.

Ragazzi's loves to participate in local politics. Encourages customers Republicans, Democrats, and Libertians to engage in conversation. And to encourage others who have long since given up on politics to get involved once again.

Ragazzi's assists local non-profits as much as possible. Ragazzi's has been involved with the Lotus Festival, Women Inspire, Stepping Stones, local musuems, political organizations, and clubs.

If your in the mood for some Italian vegetarian food, try the Gabriella. Fettucine, white wine, fresh lemon, capers, diced tomatoes, and artichokes smothered with homemade garlic butter, it melts in your mouth! For meat lovers we have t-bone steak, filet of sole, and other meats. Everyone loves the caprese salad with ripe tomatoes, fresh basil and fresh mozzarella topped with our homemade balsamic virgin olive oil dressing. We do specials every week!

The owner's husband is from Italy, the south of Italy, Calabria. His hometown is La Mezia Terme. The homemade tiramisu is one of the house's specialities. Adopted from Renato's mother's receipe. Lena always had a way to make homemade Italian food delicious for her 8 children. The tiramisu is made with mascapone cheese, ladyfingers, and sweet marsala wine and kahlua and a few special ingredients to make it Ragazzi's own. A great dessert in the summer!

We look forward to serving you and making you part of the Ragazzi family!
