Demolition

The most I could find (without paying the HT ransom money) was this article: http://newsinfo.iu.edu/news/page/normal/2783.html which talks about the plans for the new building, which is a 3-story, first floor retail, upstairs office space leased to IU. The only thing interesting is that it mentions keeping the awning and part of the existing exterior walls, so the space won't be completely demolished. --Jkonrath 16:55, 14 July 2006 (EDT)

Yes, I suppose we should call this a "renovation" rather than demolition---even if it basically means the loss of most of the building, and the rendering of what remains into something unrecognizable and soulless. But, of course, that would not be encyclopaedic, now would it? ---Liam 13:19, 2 October 2006 (EDT)
