As seen from across 6th Street

The Cereal Barn & Peanut Butter Cafe opened in August 2006 and closed in May 2008. It was located at 408 E. 6th Street, next to the Runcible Spoon, and claimed to be Indiana's first cereal bar. Its owners had designed the restuarant to offer unlimited meal and light snack options for adults, families, students and everyone young at heart. The Cereal Barn claimed to offer "fun, good, meals and snacks in a bright, relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere". Their slogan was: "YOUR BOWL, YOUR WAY, EVERY DAY". The Cereal Barn sometimes hosted groups for meetings and other get togethers. They regularly hosted Calliope's Circle on Wednesday evenings.
