From Bloomingpedia

Overview

The White River is one of Southern Indiana's major rivers. It drains much of Indiana from Indianapolis southward. It consists of two forks, and its west fork is a border of Monroe County. The two forks have their confluence in Daviess County and eventually dump into the Wabash River.
