Waffle House

Waffle House is a restaurant on north College Avenue at the corner of 10th Street in Bloomington. It opened in 1967 according to a message on their marquee. It is the oldest of the remaining Waffle House restaurants in Indiana.
The Indiana chain of Waffle House restaurants is not to be confused with the national chain found across the southern United States. Because the local chain existed first, the national franchiser instead named their stores Waffle and Steak in Indiana.
