Steak 'n Shake

A regional diner chain, best known for their slogan "famous for steakburgers", referring to their fresh hamburgers. They are also known for milkshakes and general American diner fare. The interiors look like old burger joints from the fifties, with checkered tile floors and lots of chrome. Most locations are open 24 hours, and many also have drive-through windows. The chain started in the Bloomington-Normal vicinity in Illinois and is now headquartered in Indianapolis.
