Bloomington Restorations

From Bloomingpedia

Bloomington Restorations is a private not-for-profit agency with the mission of preserving architecturally significant buildings in Monroe County. It was created in 1976 after local civic leaders noted the loss of several significant buildings in the Walnut Street corridor.

Renovations performed by BRI include Mount Ebal Church on Fairfax Road, the Monroe County Courthouse and the Carnegie Library.

Early drivers behind the agency included Rosemary Miller, Gayle Cook, Larry Burke, and Jane McIntosh.
