There are many streets in Bloomington that are physically continuous and don't require you to turn, but nonetheless change the name of the street at some point or another. This can be for a variety of reasons. Roads that where once seperate became joined together, like in the case of the Rogers-Madison Bridge. Others simply change names because they turn into state highways. Like 3rd Street turning into SR 48.
